The Magic of Living

The Magic of Brand Storytelling

The Magic of Living Logo
"Erica was able to pull together an array of services into a comprehensive and clear offering that I felt good putting forward in the world. Her years of experience and razor sharp comprehension made quick a task that for others would have taken weeks or months. She is able to hear, digest and reframe things with a speed and clarity that blew me away. I highly recommend working with Erica to feel clear and confident about your business and how to present it."

My Creative Process

When Lana Thomas and I first began working together nearly a decade ago, we knew her vision was too big to be contained by a single brand. Through our strategy sessions, we uncovered two distinct directions that reflected both her immediate needs and her long-term dreams.

The first became Your Synergenie, a high-end home and life organizing business built around the idea that Lana would work with her clients to transform their spaces and lives, without them needing to carry the burden of decision-making or legwork. The positioning was intentional: approachable yet elevated, practical yet luxurious.

For years, Your Synergenie attracted high-paying clients, many of whom trusted Lana so deeply they kept her on retainer to manage and sustain order in their homes and lives. A simple one-page website and carefully crafted branding guidelines allowed the business to thrive, and the clarity of the brand’s message carried it forward for nearly a decade.

At the same time, we started creating the second brand The Magic of Living. This was Lana’s passion project, her intention being to offer workshops and sessions that connect healing/therapy work with beautiful and practical solutions to life’s chaos – essentially, making life magical.

During our early brand strategy work, we defined the purpose, intention, and overall vision of what this future offering could become. Even though she wasn’t ready to launch at the time, the branding we developed provided a clear path.

Over the years, Lana continued to build the skills, tools, and assets needed to bring this vision to life. And now, years later, The Magic of Living has launched as a full expression of the work we dreamed up almost a decade ago – proof that intentional brand strategy can stand the test of time and evolve alongside its creator.

As Lana herself reflects:

“Erica helped me form both of my businesses from their inception. She supported the development of my ‘passion project’ branding almost 10 years ago, along with my current business that has been very successful over the past decade.

Ten years later, the branding and logos for both businesses look as current as yesterday. Without her encouragement to develop BOTH of my business endeavors, I don’t think my passion project would ever have come into being. Instead, Erica’s belief in me and vision for the future gave me confidence in tomorrow.”

This case is a reminder that brand strategy isn’t just about solving today’s problems – it’s about building a foundation strong enough to carry your vision into the future.
